LaLaKids
LaLaKids is the natural progression of LaLaLittleKids, a method created by founder, musician, educator and mum Genevieve Shaw.

The songs are geared towards older children, using more sophsticated language and cocnepts, but with the same core idea - catchy and engaging songs that will stick in kids' minds so they learn English spontaneously.

Song of the month: Alphabet chant
Tip: Stop the song randomly and ask your students to say the last letter they heard. Write it on the board.
If your students are particularly confident, ask them to recite the alphabet individually or in pairs.
Use the Alphabet Chant when you want to introduce a new song or theme in class.

How to use it:

1. Tell the children that you are going to start learning a new song or theme, and that you will play Hangman.

2. Write the letters for your Hangman word on the board.

3. Play the Alphabet Chant and encourage the children to join in.

4. Ask the children to guess letters. Ask them to say the letter and give an example of a word beginning with that letter. For example, "E for elephant," or any other word beginning with "E".

5. Make a list of the words on the board that the children use in their guesses. Once they have discovered the Hangman word, erase the other words and then ask the children to remember them again.

6. Ask the children what letter the other words begin with. For eaxmple, "what letter does 'elephant' begin with?"
